Metro Honolulu ranges from Salt Lake on the west, to Nuuanu on the north, to Kaimuki to the east and Waikiki to the south. The most developed of all the regions, Metro Honolulu includes downtown Honolulu, Ala Moana/Kakaako and the Manoa Valley and offers a wide mix of housing types from historical homes to luxury condominiums. With the majority of the employment located in this area, convenience is the major draw and as a result, the median prices are generally higher than other areas of Oahu. Price range is vast, though, with smaller studio condominiums in leasehold priced under $100,000 to majestic estates up to $7,000,000 and luxury penthouse condominiums exceeding $36,000,000. Metro Honolulu has something for everyone.
